CTS7 Birthday card

One of my fave co-workers turns 50 on Monday, so I knew I had to make her an awesome card. I used the color palette from the just-expired Dynamic Duos #30 challenge - midnight muse & silver, because it just seemed RIGHT for the birthday girl. And 50th birthdays are about silver & sparkle, right? Because I was making the card after the deadline, I added a greenish-yellow bit o' bling to the o in fabulous.

The card follows CAS(E) this Sketch #7, as shown above, except I turned it sideways. The scalloppy parts are made from an MFT die and offset so that they make a ric-rac-esque pattern. The 5 & 0 were die cut from SU Sparkly Silver paper, and the background is brushed silver card stock. I rounded the corners of the banner to coordinate with the scalloppy bits, and stamped the "& fabulous" using studio g alphabet stamps, which i stamped first in black, then retraced in black spica pen. You can't see it here, but the banner was misted (heavily) with rubbing alcohol/champagne sparkle paint so that it too is a bit spurkly.
