You a-mews me

i love love love the stamps that Claire Keay has illustrated for MFT. i have all three of the little boy ones -so perfect!

Anyway, I needed to make a birthday card for my friend E, who is a vet.. so i decided to ink up You A-mews me - again, perfect (purr-fect?) for E! i paper pieced the image using some oooold close to cocoa DSP, but decided it wasn't "right" for E, so I went at it again with this patterned paper, and liked it better. I rotated this week's MFT sketch and love how it turned out. I had to add googlies to the cat costume, as there are random dots on the MFT and the eyes got lost on it. Plus, it just fits for E. what can I say, she's a treat :)

This card is also being entered in the Friday Mashup 63 - Paper Piecing challenge, as the kitten outfit was PP'd, as well as the ears & nose were PP'd again. .
