Happy Father's Day!

Grrr. i had this all typed out & forgot to hit save.

ANYWAY. This week's Simon Says Stamp Challenge is to make something Diamond Jubilee related, or something with crowns or gems... And right away I thought of this Maya Road set... and the "BBQ on" worked well for the SOS 54 father's day challenge so i thought "what the heck", and got to work. And I must say I do heart this card - the papers (Memory Box "brioche"), crown with stickled gems, sparkly clouds, and most definitely the sentiment! BBQ on!!

The base is from the pile, clouds were either already cut or cut tonight fr scraps.. the bbq and CS layers were made from pieces in the scrap bin.. Fairly easy card, other than trying to line up letters in my custom sentiment. #grrr

I would never have thought I would use the word "cute" about a barbeque, but this one actually IS cute! Before I got over to your blog I thought is was a Pacman with legs. Hihi. But I can clearly see it's a barbeque now, and I love the papers you've used, and the clouds look great too!
PS: You have word verification turned on. I don't know if it's your intention, but wanted to let you know since it turns many people off from leaving comments...
