SOS 24: second card

yay, two cards in an hour!!

so, I had a request for a "sailing" card, thankfully I bought SU's Sail Away stamp a while back - this gave me the perfect opportunity to ink it up! As well, sailing is a sport, so another to fit this week's challenge!

I'd seen this card on SCS and pretty much case'd it, just changed up her black with basic grey. The base is from my pile, DSP is from a piece that has been sitting in my DSP bin forever (was whole, but my chair had rolled over it so i consider it a scrap), and the matt is from the cardstock scrap bin. button is from my stash, and the pale blue ribbon i have had for eons. it's all scrunched up in my ribbon bin after unfurling itself repeatedly from the spool. i actually just found a loop & snipped it, as i couldn't find the end! I could NOT get the button/ribbon to look like hers either, so i cheated (there's a glue dot holding button in place), but ah well!

And now for a bigger normal-sized (crappy) version of the same pic...

Like Lydia said on Twitter, the button attachment is GENIUS! LOVE IT! And when I CASE something, I always change at least one thing. LOVE this.

Very pretty! Love the colors, too. Had to strain a little bit to see the pic (I'm blind ya know), but it was totally worth it. :D

Great job, Chelle!

Love the CAS layout and the ribbon/button combo. Thanks for joining us over at SOS this week :)
