Fred? Fred the Blog Hop? If this is the first you're hearing of this term, it's a newly coined acronym that stands for Friends Rock Every Day (thanks Dreena!)
The blog hop is a short one, only 9 blogs total. If you haven't come here from Lisa's, then I suggest you start from the beginning and go see Lydia at Understand Blue and check out how Fred has progressed (and why we did this in the first place).
What could I add to a sympathy card that was simple, and fit in with the rest of the card? i started looking at my (piles of) stamps, and at some "spare parts" and saw a butterfly. And it was just 'right'. Of course, it was entirely the wrong color, but that's easily fixed. I pulled out the Great Friend stamp set, and stamped the butterfly in versamark on Pretty in Pink, and then embossed it with
I send the card on to Dreena, whose blog is the next stop on this Fred blog hop!
To recap: Blog stops are:
1) Lydia Fielder
2) Dana Keith
3) Mary Dawn Quirindongo
4) Leslie Hanna

9) Sue Farrant - Fred's home. Not an official blog stop, but she's written a post about Fred anyway, so we'll count it here :)
And I said there'd be blog candy too, right? Well how about this. Leave me a comment telling me whose element on the progressive card to this point has been your favorite and why.Winner will be picked at random from all received, and will win some MSCrafts 12x12 paper packs (the ones in this pic... none have been opened yet), the Stampin' Up Elegant Lines embossing folder (I found an extra in the cave. OOPS!) and some yet-to-be-determined ribbon. because lordy. this girl has enough ribbon to wrap up the world.
ETA: any comments posted before Saturday at midnight ADT (11:00pm Saturday, EST) will be eligible for bpig candy. Winner will be drawn Sunday(-ish... i do have a small child at home, y'know. time kind of escapes me sometimes...)

I REALLY like the flutterby! Nice dimension. I'm off to the next stop so I can see the FINISHED CARD!
I LOVE the pink glittery butterfly!! Why didn't I think of that?? :)
Beautiful.
Lovin' the corner pearls - like a hug on the card! Such a great blog hop!
Butterflies hold a very special meaning for me and it's related to a deceased loved one. So, naturally for me the butterfly is my favorite.
I *heart* that beautiful butterfly!
I love the pop of pink you added with the butterfly. That's definitely my favorite!
I'm really loving this entire blog idea to send FRED to Sue. I like all of the elements so far, but feel that the pearls pulled it together with a sense of mature, elegant beauty.
I love the idea of this card. What a great way to show Sue some love. And she deserves it. She is such a nice person. I like the butterfly, but my favorite addition so far is the pearls. Love bling.
Thanks for offering blog candy.

Chelle, I know how busy your life has been and is...that you took the time to be a part of Fred is wonderful. The pink on the card pops and it was the perfect touch...mum would probably have picked the flutterby off to to save it LOL
Thank you love, Sue
I love the crocheted lace! but the whole card is awesome! can't wait to check out the next stop!
Qh . . . this so such a lovely idea, and, darlin' I love all the elements. But, since I must, I guess I'll go with the Irish dictionary sheet 'cause my Mom was Irish, too. You guys are an inspiration.
That butterfly is the perfect pearl-follower! *smile*
This is an awesome idea. Can't wait to see how the card turns out. My favorite so far is the Irish dictionary page. Just the right touch. Thanks for a chance to win some candy.

I love all of the embellishments, but I love the idea of the self-adhesive lace!
I love the pearl and lace combo...it gives the whole card a very classy (and vintage-y) look! Wasn't sure about the lace but I think I MUST get some!
Gorgeous as always Chelle!!!
