The ol' blog has been fairly picture-free lately, and I apologize. Things have been absolutely insane lately. I was sick after I got home from my trip West, and then I started the cake decorating class, two workshops in a week, etc etc etc.
So, enough excuses. Here are pics of the cards we did at the workshop on Mar 1. It was a birthday-ish theme. I love the retro-fold bird card. Just SO much fun. Especially since I used the birthday hat from Crab & Co. to put on the bird. heee.
We also made a 4th card as well, but I just gave the girls access to the goodies from the Best Ever Simply Scrappin Kit, and let them make their own cards (which of course, I didn't get any pictures of. DOH). Then, because they were having fun, I decided to make a card. And then another. Then I ended up making 6... they were sooo quick & easy! I heart the SS kits. I still have a ton of stuff to use up too. And did you know you can make 32 (4x4) cards from one kit and still have goodies left over?? Would I lie to you? Geez :P
So after that workshop, I had to get ready for yesterday's workshop in New Brunswick. We made the same red cupcake card, a card really similar to the green card in this post, a funky coral & chocolate chip version of the birthday bird card from above, and then a card using some of the Sale-A-Bration papers & stamps. I love the colors on this card (So Saffron & Bashful Blue). It's just so springy & purty.
So that's what I've been up to. What about you??
