Holiday challenges and gifts

It's been a busy couple of weeks. I had my Christmas card workshop last weekend - 82 cards made in 4 hours. I've got 98% of the Christmas gifts that need to be mailed to MB/SK picked up, and will mail them out by next weekend. Tomorrow was my goal, but eh, can't win 'em all.

Anyway, cards. First off is the card I made for my upline's Christmas card challenge. She sent/gave everyone the same elements, and limited us to the paper supplied (plus neutral), and let us add any embellishments we needed to make our cards. Here's what the rest of the girls came up with, and the pic on the right is what I made. I was on a time crunch, as I didn't get my paper until after work on the day of the challenge, but I think it still turned out all right.

Then, as part of a blog candy challenge at Punkydoodle Papers, I made not just one, but two new holiday cards... I embossed the brown & green one with silver & bronze EP, but it didn't show up so well. I stamped the snowflakes on the blue card in bashful blue, and then used the iridescent ice EP, and they're sooooooo pretty.

A big part of my Christmas shopping so far for those 'back home' has been gift cards. Most people are getting a gift card and something little. I was looking through my blogs for a way to dress up the gift cards, and found this on Patty Bennett's blog. Here are my attempts:

So that's what I've been up to. Hope you're all well. I'll get my blog candy set up by the end of this coming week. Promise!
