I have made a bunch of different Christmassy cards today, and instead of posting them all, I put them in a facebook album... let me know what you think. Looks like I might get 30 cards for my card exchanges made & addressed this weekend after all! (I haven't made them all this weekend, but many. And I have 8 still on my desk, half finished. Waitin on more inspiration :))
Two of those cards double as challenge entries from this past week as part of the Stamp Simply Celebrations. First, For Sharon's "Just Two Inches" challenge, I made Ready Set Snow! I used a 2" strip of the Frosty Day DSP, my Season of Friendship set and some ribbon from Michael's.
The second card was for SSC blog candy & Color Throwdown #23 at Stamp Happy. The main colors for the challenge are pink pirouette (check!), chocolate chip (check!) and riding hood red (check), with kiwi kiss or old olive (the sentiment is kiwi kiss, so CHECK!). I love using the Top Note Bigz Die as Santa's body. And that felt ribbon for a belt makes this an easy easy card.
That's all for today. Let me know what you think of the cards in the FB album. I've sorted the pictures from newest to oldest, so if you've been checking out hte crafty pics for a while, you'll have seen some of the older ones. And of course, don't forget my blog candy post down below. The contest closes tomorrow at 11:59pm AST, so get those entries in!!
